Testimonials

Being part of the 100 Self Portraits 100 Dreams project turned into an unforgettable media adventure—one that took me to India and connected me with incredible women from around the world. From the moment we met, the energy between us was electric as we shared our lives, professions, and journeys through motherhood. What began as Shikha Khanna’s vision has evolved into something much bigger—a global sisterhood that now supports each other in business, life, and beyond. Our book holds more than stories; it carries the soul of a movement that is just beginning. I feel truly privileged to have been part of one of the richest experiences of my life.

So many changes in me began because of Shikha’s dream to interview 100 Mums. I had no idea I’d be one of the Mums or how much growth I would experience from saying yes. Sharing parts of my story I had never shared before gave a voice to sources of shame for me. This transformed the shame into freedom from it.

Learning to embrace Self Portraits and to choose one to match 300 words in the book took the whole experience to an even more transformative level.

The connections made through this group of women, the support we share for eachother, the walk for Mums, attending the beautiful launch of the book virtually from Canada…there are so many moments and things we have shared and learned from eachother. It’s a ripple effect that continues across the globe.

Being in the hundred mom’s book was a dream come true for my mom who got the book in her hands by the time she was a month shy of 100. Having both of us sharing stories in this amazing book with women of heart centered stories from all over the world was an extraordinary experience. My mom‘s legacy will live on.
This Movement was started from the hearts of mothers that is set to change the world and how they think .

A Journey of Light, Vision, and Unity

Co-authoring 100 Self Portraits, 100 Dreams with Shikha Khanna was an extraordinary journey, but witnessing its impact was something far beyond words. This project wasn’t just about stories on a page—it was about women stepping into their own light, recognizing the greatness within them, and allowing that transformation to unfold before our very eyes.

Shikha has an incredible gift: she doesn’t just inspire—she creates space for others to dream, to see possibility where there was once doubt. She gathered 100 women, helping each of us share not only our dreams but the deeper truths of where we came from and where we were headed. Through her vision, she painted a picture so vivid that we could all see what was possible—not just for ourselves, but for each other.

Some of the most powerful moments were in the intimate conversations she led. When she interviewed us, we felt seen. When she shared her vision, we felt limitless. And when she invited us to India, we felt the power of unity—one movement, one mindset, one unstoppable force of women rising together.

Though some of us couldn’t be there in person, what happened next was just as magical. We came together across distances, bridging communities and strengthening our connection. It wasn’t just about an event—it was about something greater. A mission. A dream. A family. And through it all, we continue to grow together.

Thank you, Shikha, for your vision, your generosity, and for reminding us all that anything is possible when we come together as one.

A Testament to Strength, Dreams, and the Power of Collective Resilience

Being part of 100 Moms, 100 Dreams wasn’t just about adding my story to a book—it was about standing in a space where dreams, struggles, and triumphs are woven together into something greater than any one of us alone. It was about honoring where we’ve been, daring to envision what’s next, and knowing we don’t have to do it alone.

This project created something rare: a community of truth-tellers, dreamers, and way-showers—mothers who refuse to be defined by limitations and embrace both the weight of their challenges and the fire of their aspirations. Through shared stories, we didn’t just write words on a page—we carved out a testament to what happens when women claim their voices, own their power, and step into their next chapter with intention.

The heart of 100 Moms, 100 Dreams isn’t just in the stories told—it’s in the connections made, the courage sparked, and the unwavering belief that we get to create the lives we choose. And that? That’s a dream worth sharing.

A heartfelt thank you to Shikha Khanna for her vision, generosity, and the space she continues to create for us to step forward—not just as mothers but as women with stories that matter. Your ability to bring women together, listen with your heart, amplify our voices, and remind us that our dreams are worth pursuing is a gift. I am honored to know you.

“Co-authoring 100 Self Portraits, 100 Dreams with Shikha Khanna was an extraordinary journey, but experiencing its launch in Pune, India, was truly magical. From the moment I arrived, I was embraced by Shikha, her wonderful family, and the incredible women in this project, making my first visit to India unforgettable. The event was a masterpiece—an empowering run for moms, a beautifully curated book launch, and a luxurious four-day retreat at the stunning Gold Resort, all covered by the media. More than just a celebration, it was the birth of the MUM movement, a powerful testament to dreams realized and voices amplified. Thank you, Shikha, for your vision, generosity, and for creating a movement that will continue to inspire!”
